The Butler House is a historic Mediterranean Revival-style home built in 1923 and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Originally the residence of pioneers James D. and Alice Butler, the house has been meticulously restored and is now operated by the Deerfield Beach Historical Society. Visitors can take guided tours to learn about the life of early settlers in Deerfield Beach and see original furnishings and artifacts from the period. The house offers a unique glimpse into the local history and heritage of the area
