Wakodahatchee Wetlands is a hidden gem for nature enthusiasts and bird watchers. This 50-acre wetland is part of the Great Florida Birding Trail and features a three-quarter-mile boardwalk that allows visitors to view a diverse array of wildlife up close. The wetlands are home to a variety of birds, including herons, egrets, and wood storks, as well as other wildlife such as turtles and alligators. The site is free to the public and provides an excellent opportunity for photography, nature walks, and educational outings.
